Most of us are so moulded by our experiences; specially the bad ones that we tend to become so complicated. We look at things cynically and we find it so hard to believe things as they are, thinking perhaps, there is some hidden motive underlying people’s actions. Sometimes, we don’t even let ourselves be happy when we’re supposed to be, because we’re afraid it won’t last for long and hence, we shouldn’t get too used to it.
In the process, we forget everything that was simple; we forget that what we see is usually exactly what it looks like; we lose our or trust in people. Our mind is badly stained by our unhappy experiences that we even hurt our closest friends by not trusting them. Yes, we forget; we never trust again and life goes on. But, sometimes, life gives us a second chance. A person gradually becomes a part of your life. That person is the embodiment of everything simple, pure and innocent. You may not realise immediately, but eventually you are reminded of how simple things can really be, because of that one person who, all of a sudden, has become so important to you.
That person makes every effort possible to see to it that you never get hurt and when you do get hurt, sits with you and tells you that everything will be alright. You so badly want that person to be with you forever, but you are painfully aware that, that might not be. When it comes down to it, we actually do get hurt when that person leaves, and we know that it’s not going to be alright. With time we accept it, perhaps life makes us accept it and we are left with no choice but to move on!
:)

you are the light of my life, the doll who can make everyone i know laugh! ;)
p.s. - i'm not hitting on you!
i wish you were :)

but really nice. rashmi.
about the trusting part - i'm just the opposite, so can't relate to that. anyway, it was nice to read. Very 'romantic-noseleaking-tissue wasting' types.
Hope the person that inspired this, realizes before it's too late. :-)
