I wrote from a boring dull office building while filing an equally dull and boring badminton story simultaneously.
'D' wrote from a place surrounded by green hills and mist on a rainy June evening (June 30).

Rash: We live in times where there a bunch of pseudo-conservationists who are 'sincerely' trying to save the environment. The exact facts as to what prompted these wonderful souls to take the path they've decided to tread is still under investigation. Of course there are many unsuspecting fools that are impressed. So now, each of us who identify ourselves by the famed two elephants have a coffee mug, the colour of which could be most accurately described as a brighter shade of fresh cow dung. The reason? to save paper. As if! What about all the paper we use to print unnecessary news??! It has probably never occurred to these self-proclaimed environmentalists that a lot of water will be wasted in washing the mugs.
OK. Fire alarm.. running out.

Debby: I heard about the fire alarm, and the first thought that hit me was, "Wtf! There are no hot people on the whole floor and they are scared of fire." Maybe tea is good. Tea is hot. And this was quite random. Ha! Ha! But not green tea.

I am having water and I feel like having coffee. I also want to watch a gangster film, something like Rock n Rolla, the Guy Ritchie one. I like watching Russian gangsters in action. Funny accent and they kill people objectively. And can you believe it, an inflight magazine that pretends to be a hot shot product doesn't like the mention of alcohol in copies. Not even a single word. Wtf!

Oh well when AIG went under our biggies were unaffected because in this country, owners of giant factories will sell anything to stay alive but themselves won't do what their products tell people to do or push some image of life in the public's skulls. If AIG's seniors were money-eating, fun-loving people who lived like there is no tomorrow, then they lived that way. Reliance went into what not, from groceries to underpants. So when the money market got devastated, groceries and underpants saved the company. These two are important things in our country.

Point is survival is okay and even admirable but the hypocrisy smells like dog shit. Proud owner of Hard Rock Cafe kisses the feet of a tainted godman. Some of India's biggest companies that promote sex and nakedness and urban gang-bang, good wine, the good life, don't allow their employees to bring omelet to the workplace because it's a non-veggie food and hence a sin to even touch. Ha! Ha! Is that the fire alarm? No I must be hearing something else because it's impossible for me to hear it right here in the middle of the jungle!
